Of the various causes I’ve been involved in, making change in the world of human trafficking is the most important. While we have slavery on earth and the manipulation of our children, our society will continue to decline.

It was in making the following video that my fire was firmly lit for the cause and our kids. I was invited to make something to help the Hope Academy raise funds and spread its message.

This incredible story of a woman that lifted herself off the street with the help of an organization for which she now works in cold Colorado.

POVERTY PORN - EXPLOITATION FOR ARTISTIC GAIN

I filmed this piece on the Lakota Nation in South Dakota, where a couple elders are teaching the young ones ways to own their own stories.

Trafficking is much more nuanced than movies and the media have portrayed; thus, people are missing the kids bought and sold right in their own neighborhoods.

I put together a ground-breaking TV series, After The Escape, to dramatically shake and emotionally connect to our concerned public, what’s happening at the root level, and what they can do about it in their communities.

A Ground-Breaking Human Trafficking Docuseries

I developed a framework for a docuseries that will take the most critical and overlooked aspects of the cause and put them front and center while lifting up the biggest heroes in the cause: the people who lived through it, came out on the other side and now help others do the same.

I also speak on the topic on podcasts and on stages.
